Steps for Getting Started
Step 1: Review & customize your new Platform. You will receive your Platform Welcome email and receive access to the Company Admin Dashboard.
- Take some time to review the Platform and check out the Admin Dashboard, including the FAQs. Learn more about the Admin Dashboard here.
- Depending on your package, make sure that the correct team members receive the instructions to connect your HRIS platform or SSO provider with your platform.
- Customize your platform via the Actions Hub on your Admin View to:
- Set up matching gifts, Cause Credits, campaigns, volunteer events
- Update platform settings: Company logo, icon, homepage welcome message, homepage image, and footer text
- Reach out to your Social Impact manager to:
- Add additional platform Admins
- Create a Custom Cause Portfolio
Step 2: Plan your company-wide launch.
- Pick the date you want to announce and launch your new Platform to employees.
- Schedule the launch during an upcoming all-hands or a short lunch & learn. Percent Pledge typically joins to do a short 10 minute overview, demo and Q&A.
- Send Percent Pledge a calendar invite and Zoom link for the launch.
- The day of your platform launch will be the date you will set the Platform welcome email to be sent (see step 3).
- Get Executive endorsement of your new giving back program. Ask leadership to invite employees to participate in the new program by introducing the program at an All-Hands or recording a video about why they are excited about the program and why giving back is important to them.
- Share the Teaser Announcement with employees and let them know what day the platform will be launched and they will get their welcome email.
Step 3: Send this helpful additional information to other teams to ensure a successful launch:

- IT Team: Please ask your IT team to allowlist Percent Pledge. If you are using SSO or HRIS integrations, please forward the attached instructions included in Step 1 to the correct technical contact.
- AP/Finance Team: Percent Pledge has two business entities. Please share invoicing details with your AP teams.
- Marketing Team: Announce our partnership on LinkedIn and add your new benefit to your employee recruiting webpages. Learn more about why you should market your giving program to attract talent.
- People/HR Team: When a new employee joins your company, you’ll want to let them know about Percent Pledge. Here are comms to include in new employee onboarding.

Step 5: Send launch comms to employees announcing the Platform on, or shortly before or after, launch day!
