Steps for Getting Started

Step 1: Understand your Peoples’ Passions by utilizing a quick ~5 minute Passion Assessment with your employees

Step 2: Boost Participation through giving, volunteering and user engagement

  • Start a Giving Campaign
      • Step-up a Matching Campaign or add Cause Credits - Most successful customers have matching and/or Cause Credit campaigns. You can create your own matching campaign or award Cause Credits from your Admin Dashboard.
      • Create a Custom Cause Portfolio - Custom company Cause Portfolios containing 3-5 charities of your choice can be added at any time. If you have ERGs within your organization, partnering with them to create a custom Cause Portfolio is a great way to uplift employees and the organizations they care about. Reach out to your Social Impact Manager to set one up and provide recommendations on top-rated, vetted charities, as well. 
      • Make a Corporate Donation - Process corporate grants and donations through Percent Pledge or send us your donation receipt so all of your company’s giving can be tracked on the platform and be included in Company Pledge Reports! 
  • Share Percent Pledge’s monthly philanthropy email with employees
  • Our monthly philanthropy email provides you with updates on platform features, events, upcoming Cause Holidays, and other helpful resources to boost engagement! 
          • You’ll receive our Cause Kits with additional tools and resources to celebrate Cause Holidays.  
  • You can plan your custom giving campaigns that align with Cause Holidays, like Pride, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, etc.
Plan Volunteer Events: 
Increase Engagement: 
    • Get ERG leaders involved! The most successful companies make office team leads and ERG leaders Volunteer Admins for additional help organizing and promoting volunteer events. 
      • Pro tip: They also have ERGs create custom Cause Portfolios to support their giving efforts. 
    • Promote your platform at company all-hands and team meetings and continue to send comms regularly about your social impact program. 
    • Add additional company admins - learn about admin access here
    • Continue to add new employees by inviting them to your Platform if you don’t have the HRIS integration.

Step 3: Market Your Impact 

  • Receive Impact Reports - Ensure that all employees receive the quarterly Company Impact Report, which shares your collective impact and is a positive reinforcement to participate in giving and volunteering.
